Can't access my posts

Monday morning I noticed that my Gold membership must have expired (I always thought that was an automatic rollover using my credit card), my avatar was gone...but most worrisome is that I can't open any of my previous posts or threads? If I still have a basic member registration, shouldn't I be allowed to do that? The window that popped up said that I don't have access to my account.

I'm sorry to have to post a thread about this, I would have preferred to email one of the mods to sort this out.

As a Registered User, you can't search. I would think that means you can't "find all posts by" yourself.

You can still email or visitor message a moderator. Click on the name for the contact line in the menu.
 
I do know it is NOT automatic, you must order the right membership, I usually note when it is to expire and order, the year is tacked onto the end of your time, that way I never get knocked out. Upgrade your forum experience and go back to gold or whatever, but it will take Spark a few days (especially with the holidays ) to get you activated, then after you do get activated, you have to manually change user groups and rejoin the one you were in. That is the advantage of renewing early. I never have to go though that.

Thanks Esav, I understand the "search" option has been turned off for basic members. I'm talking about looking under my own statistics, can't open my own posts. If my gold membership has lapsed, I'm happy to renew it. I'll check out the menu.

my subscription was good til after the newyear but this sounded like some solid advice so i renewed early and upgraded to platinum from gold.:thumbup:

Thanks guys, I can access the posts here, I can even post to the posts here, I just can't access the posts I've posted to. I think it's a diabolical scheme by the mods to get me to re-up :D
 
Not sure what you mean by not being able to access your own posts. Are you looking for your posts in a restricted forum?

Problem solved with renewal, thanks :D

Edit: What I meant, originally, is that I could not get into the list of my own posts in my statistics.
 
Ah, that's a function of search. Search is limited to members with paid subscriptions
