Can't add more than a few lines to a post. Hangs and timeout.

I've tried editing a dozen times a post in my SBC Gallery in C&HK forum.

Each time it simply hangs and then time outs. I can submit a thread with a couple of lines, but editing or starting a new one longer than four lines it doesn't seem to work.

This happened a year or so ago, to me and others.

Anything new going on in BF serverville? Very frustrating.

I haven't seen much of that lately. Lets wait for the mods with more experience with IT. I usually recommend the basics. Clear cookies, log out and back in. I don't know that works on this hang-up, though.

Coop, assuming the forums are working as they should... What browser are you using? Is it updated to the most recent release? Esav has good suggestions in clearing your browser cookies and history. WHat really irks me is when problems fix themselves, it's something that we always dread.

Yeah, thanks to both of you guys for advice. Still NFG.

I shrugged and did the usual suspects as Esav pointed out. (I use Chrome): Cleared cache, logged out, logged in. Still hangs.

Then I switched to Firefox, did the same, and tried posting: Still no good. It simply sits there loading until I get a timeout message.

It's frustrating and crazy. Hopefully temporary, but it's been a full two days.

I even tried eliminating all the smilies, etc. Nada.

I'm seeing this today, in trying to add a couple of Photobucket image links into one of my posts, OR even in trying to add a little more text, OR doing something even simpler like trying to italicize or bold some text in my existing post. Editor keeps hanging, then I get a 'connection reset' error message and 'page not available' (text on error page quoted below). I was beginning to think these issues were gone (hadn't experienced it in a while), but apparently not...

Last night I was having database errors starting at 8:15p Pacific time. Very strange as it happened 3 times in a row, could not post, then it seemed to have gotten resolved, but page loading times was very slow around 10pm.
