This past weekend I was in Lake George NY with the family on a mini vacation, fishing, boating etc. Any who my brother and I stopped to check out an old Chris-craft boat for sale. As we were looking there was an old tackle box in the boat. I jokingly asked the older guy selling it "Does the tackle box come with it?" He said "Sure does." Opened up the box and there was a treasure of old lures and a mega surprise, a yellow lakemate 123. After containing myself I asked if he wanted to sell just the box. Sure $25. The 123 got used later that day on a Laker and now is permanently in my tackle box. It replaced a Sheffield filet knife that I had for years. Anyone know of a yellow ocean or stream mate looking for a home, I'm all ears.

sea, Buck offered those in 1985. They are not pictured in that catalog along side the brown handled models but a sentence is attached at the end. Stating the yellow handled models with a black sheath are available.
A good find. Worth the price. I don't run across those in my travels. They'll have 425M steel. DM
