I have a Mnandi i recently purchased that seemed to have some light mottling on the polished sides. It didn't polish out easily so I e-mailed customer service. They called and asked me to send the knife in.

The day after they received it I had a call from Customer Service. Apparently this is an artifact of titanium and is actually in the metal. But they offered to replace the entire knife! I declined, the problem isn't worth going to that expense but the offer was instant.

Their customer service is to the same standard as their products . . . high, very high. Hey, they've got a customer for life now.

I recently sent in my BG42 In God We Trust for a refurbishing.imagine my surprise when I was called not once but,two times to keep me informed about my knife.now thats really something.the knife came back looking great too.

Yep, gotta couple of sebs w/no lanyard........one phone call, two lanyards arrive 2 days later.

I recently sent in a Mnandi for a refurb (I bought it used, and then it had gone through the washer/dryer...) I had to have the work done and shipped back on a tight schedule due to travel plans. They quoted me a week for the work. I mailed the knife on a Friday. They called on Monday to talk about the work to be done. Then called again Tuesday saying everything was done and ready to ship! The knife came back looking like new.

Amazing customer service. The knives speak for themselves, but the service is outstanding as well.

I've only had exemplary service from CRK as well. The folks there are great. They truely are the best in my opinion. Gator68, what happened to your mnandi after the wash/dryer? Also, what inlay was it?

I just bought a small classic w/snakewood inlay at the Solvang Kinfe Show. Since I'm not used to pocket clips, I removed mine and installed the insert, which is not polished (that portion of my knife is polished).

I returned to the show and showed it to Chris, and he agreed that it should be polished, and said he would polish one and send it to me when they got back to Boise.

This is going the extra mile, like others have experienced.

I've had 2 experiences with CR customer service and both have been great. The first instance I overtightened the screws on my large seb and they were on the verge of stripping so I contacted Heather via e-mail and she sent out replacement screws free of charge. The second time I got a mnandi for my birthday and it was butterknife dull I sent it back to them and I got a e-mail back yesterday saying it's now sharp and tuned up and will be here tomarrow. I think the turn around time is incredibly fast especially compared to some other companies with their 30 buisness day turn around time.

The knife was clipped into my jeans. Went through a cycle of the washer and dryer. The inlays warped out. They were lignum vitae. In addition, the surface of the wood was dull. After about two months, the wood relaxed back into place, but they weren't really in solid. That, plus a stripped clip screw (I got this used...) made me decide to get the knife fixed. So I now have new blackwood inlays. I really like these inlays better. :D

I have a large Sebenza that is m EDC and over time the pocket clip loosened up so I took the clip off to rebend it for better hold on the pocket. Well in the process I ended uo stripping the head of the hex screw. I called CR Customer Service and asked if I could buy a new screw. Well they sent me a package with the screw, a hex wrench to fit and the clip, gratis!

Thank you very much CR CS. Great product and great service to back it up.

Regards, Vince

Well, I guess this is a wrap then. We lust after their knives and they treat us well. I can live with that . . .
