ok, I just got one of the s60v blurs from kershawguy, all I have to say is WOW. now they look good in the pics, but they do not do then justice, this is a beautiful knife, the pics show them as this brownish green, well there actually a dark green, kinda like a dark military green, looks great. I love everything about the knife, except the trac tec. I like to keep my knives in my back pocket. well when I put the blur in there the trac tec scrapes something fierce, its like im gonna wear a hole in my pocket, my shallot goes in and out nice and smooth. I tried the blur in the watch pocket and its a little better, that may be the compromise, but I dont know. id love to carry this knife.

has anybody modded the blurs to take out the trac tec and put something else in?? im not even sure id want to do this to such a low production knife, yeah its a blem, but still they only made like 300 total.

otherwise its a fantastic knife, if youre on the fence about this one, do it get one while you still can. one of these days in gonna hit it with the sharpener and see how sharp I can get it.

I assume you've bent the clip out a bit to loosen its grip on your pocket slightly?

Theres a reason I own 1% of the run :D I will have one when I die.

As far as grip, the tractec isnt going to tear/wear cotton, twill, wool, or denim...dress pants maybe. I've carried them IWB, slacks, jeans, back pocket...no holes.

However, the old rough "sandpaper" handles didnt even wear a hole in dress pants when I carried right back pocket.

YMMV.

I guess its more of an ease of getting it in and out of the pocket. I kinda have to fight it a bit to get it in the pocket, whereas the shallot just slides right in.

no riffraff I have not tried to bend the clip yet, ill give that a try.

another note about the knife, man the more I look at it the more I knida want to buy another one, just to have incase something happens to this one.
