Just picked up a few from Mike, already had two. Fine Fit and Finish, I love his work. I did ask him to go a little larger on the next ones, I am glad to see him on the forums, Now for the EYE CANDY.

What do you think about these?
Jim

Man, did someone go WILD???

The mosaic pins on the MOP really set that knife off.

Nice collection there James.

I think you already know what I think about Mike's work, Jim, but yes these are great scores. I really like the pick bone on the Doctor:thumbup: and if I know Mike's knives like I think I do, I bet that pearl will knock your socks of in person.

I am waiting to have my socks knocked off, Mike sent them over night today. I can not wait.
The MOP Jack is the one I will coon finger first.:D:D

Those are very nice looking knives!! Say, is there some detail work around the pins on the pearl?? I see a faint pattern of, dots maybe??

Very nice. I like the detail work on the pins (Pearl slippie).

I have an Alsdorf MOP Doctor's somewhere in transit (PO says it left St. Louis), and a MOP Interframe Doctor's on order.

Answer above, Mosaic Pins on the MOP Jack.

Jim when I saw that pearl on the available page, I felt a disturbance in the force from somewhere in Alabama.... :)

I believe that's the first Alsdorf teardrop pattern I've seen in pearl, striking.

Beautifull knives all, but the MOP really knocked me out. I think the word exquisite, falls short in understatement.

To put it another way, thats the first time I've stared like that at another MOP knife that wasn't a peanut!

Just saving typing, see even you knew what I meant.:D:D
But I must say I have never eaten Coon Fingers, do they taste like chicken?
At any rate, That Knutbuster would look awfully good in this grouping.
When am I going to get chicken finger it?:p

Jim
PS: May the folksy be with you too.

Congrats, Jim. Both are sweet. You can chicken finger all you want despite what Kerry says.

Look, I'm just tryin to do my part in the community to edgemacate on folksy ways. Truth bein told, that pearly knife is almost to high fuhlootin to be "chicken fingerin".

(...and "pearly" rhymes with you know what, and you can draw your own conclusions about that right there :) )

I was just thinking the other day that I don't have a pearl handled pocketknife.
Now after seeing James's pearl Alsdorf I'm really getting antsy for one.

Of course I am on Kerry's do-to-list for a black lip pearl Knutbuster but knows when that one will show up. ;)

Bad part of the whole thing, I really do not know if I am on Kerry's list or not, been pestering him for a Knutbuster ever since he posted first one. But the good thing is, he has never said, I am not on his list. Can't wait to chicken finger it.:)
May the Folksy be with you and Kerry.
