Hello BF,

I'm fairly new at collecting, and can't decide whats gonna be my next addition to my rather small collection. I mostly collect EDC knives, ones I can use! I can't decide if I want to buy a Strider, Sebenza, or a ZT 0560. As far as price goes it doesn't matter, I'm not rich or anything but I'm willing to save money for either the strider or the sebenza. Please help me fellow knife lovers! Anybody who has both the strider and the sebenza, I please you urge to share your opinions on both, and which you prefer and why.

B.T.W: I already own a

1. ZT 0301
2. Benchmade 746
3. Benchmade 940

To me, nothing touches the fit and finish of a CRK. Striders are bad ass knives and the newer ones with the new lock up are great and the quality seems to have gotten better. The SnG I had just wasn't all the comfortable to me. The 0560 is an awesome blade especially at its price. It's big, but not too big to me. The ZT quality is as good as the strider too.

Try to handle them. They are different knives, especially the ZT and Strider compared to the sebenza. Have you looked at the umnumzaan? It's more of a direct comparison to the others being the more tactical knife I the CRK line up.

I've owned all of them and just traded a Strider SnG for the ZT0560 and I'm happy with the trade. I will get another CRK because to me, you can't get a better made knife.

So I say either the ZT0560 or CRK.

I don't own either a 0560, sebenza or a strider but they definitely have their fans. I did own a 0550 and I thought it was very well made and had great fit and finish but it was a bit bulky for my tastes so I traded it. The 0560 might be larger than the 0550 but since it it sculpted and 3d machined and all that stuff, I would imagine it wouldn't seem as bulky and carry a lot better. That bulk issue I had might be a moot point for you since you have a ZT303 (or 300 I just know it isn't 330:)) and maybe you like bulky knives.

All that being said, I would either save to get the sebenza OR with the same money, buy a ZT0560 AND a Spyderco Gayle Bradley. You would be amazed by the construction of this knife. There was someone in a thread discussing the GB and his quote was something like- "The Gayle Bradley has eliminated my need for a large sebenza". I don't know how true that is but I do know that it is a few steps above ANY production knife I have owned, including that perfect example of the zt 0550. Many people say it rivals or bests customs and midtechs for fit and finish and although I don't own customs or midtechs, I do know that the specs and materials are up there or better than a lot of them.

Good luck in your hunt!

Anyone who fancies themselves a knife collector must have a sebenza. Strider might also be a must, however, you should know what you are getting into when buying a Strider. Not saying one is better than the other BUT when the company virtually tells you to expect the knife to look a little rough...you should understand their philosophy.

Ps I love my 561... It is a better bang for your buck than CRK and Strider. And the brown is sharper :).
