Can't decide between Vulcan or Vulcan Mini

I'm just getting into some nicer knives for myself and my two teenage sons. I am carrying a Twitch II, that I really like. But then I just got a Vulcan Mini for my oldest son and wow, it is so nice. I think I want a Vulcan with the san mei tanto blade for myself but can't decide between the full-size or the mini. At 3", I feel like the mini isn't really that much bigger than my Twitch (2.65"), but then I worry that the full-size vulcan tanto will be too big/heavy to carry around casually. Thoughts?
 
Well I decided to go with the Vulcan mini (3" Tanto blade), and also bought a Kershaw Shallot which has a 3.5" blade. So my bases are covered ;-)

I had the Mini for a while and I really liked it. It is a fun knife! I think it is plenty big.
