cant decide on my new folder, would like some help please!

ok so for my b-day i'm looking at a folder of up to 250$ less is better as always lol

i was thinking about a WDZ custom, though i'm thinking i'd have a hard time using it alot, also the lock on it looks a little thin to me just imo

next is a ZT 0550 which look amazing with all the reviews, only thing i dont like is its not a flipper, and i'd much prefer the 551 if i could find one (i have a thing for elmax even if i dont own a knife in it yet)

now for steels, i have a knife in cpm-154 (orange blur) LOVE this steel which just happens to be what WDZ uses, how does S35VN hold up to it? and also how much better would elmax be to both?

also anyone know the ETA on the 561? would love one but if its not out by april 20th or sooner i'm gonna go with one of my other options.

Thats what I bought myself for my birthday. I like it a lot. It is a big brother to my 350. The wife sorta thinks I am a little off my rocker packing both of them. But I sorta like it.

I'd go with the 0550, it's a nice knife, very well made and heavy duty.

ok its came down between the 550 or the 301

i cant make up my mind! the blem 300 or 301 is cheaper and i like speedsafe and the flipper but i like the 550s steel better and it has a thicker frame lock + i can always get XM scales for it

i just cant decide! oh how i wish i could get both

I have both the 0301 and 0551. It is hard to decide each day what to carry. No worries on the 0301 steal, so if you want a flipper, get that. It is alarger knife than the 0551/0550, so if that bothers you get the 0550. You can't go wrong with either, and you'll probably end up with both anyway, so pick one and just get it. Since I discovered these knives, my others just sit in the drawer, as I can't see any reason to carry them over the ZT's, and I have some really nice folders from other great companies. If you don't have an 0560/0561 pre-ordered it may take some time, but who knows on that one.

If fast opening is what you want, the 0551/0550 can be opened very quickly using the studs, and a little flick of the wrist.

Depends on if you like recurves or not. That will answer your question for you. Both awesome knives. I'm loving the 0550 right now.....

I prefer flippers but am not a fan of recurves. In your case I would choose the 0550 over the 301.

I would say get the 350, I just bought my second one in a month so I am a little biased. I was at the gun show yesterday and talked a guy into getting one to from the same guy I was buying from. He gave me a great deal on 2 knives after I got him some biz.
