Can't decide which knife...

For me it would be the Echo. That is a nice knife and would be useful in many applications.
I haven't followed his work in a long time(back when he was an apprentice to Andy Roy and soon after), but even then he did fine work. I talked to him a few times back then and he was a very nice guy to deal with.

What's the intended use and how much experience do you have with similar handle shapes?

I could never use the top handle for an all around knife. That sort of handle puts me to far from the work and has too much torque to deal with wood crafting. Great for food prep.

I would rather do food prep with the bottom knife than wood work with top knife.

My choice would be Echo-5 of the three. It's a much thinner flat ground blade than the others at 2.38mm. Seems like it would make a great slicer but would chip easily cutting anything hard.

Another problem I have is I've handled the fc4 before(and really liked it) at a local knife store but I dont have a way to handle the other 2 other than just ordering one

The handle on the FC-4 looks insanely comfortable. I don’t think I’d choose that one, but I can see why it’s in the lineup. Between the 3, I’d choose the Echo myself.

I made a bitter statement late on a Friday night. I was looking at my knife collection thinking, “Do I really need any of this?” I apologize for my pessimism.
Apology accepted  We all get in a funk at one time or another and I myself have posted some dumb :poop: after a couple Knob creek's with coke but if you feel that way in the future you can send you collection to me and I will look after them till you come around again;)

Don't beat yourself up over which one to get. The answer is right there in front of you.
Get one of each, it's only three knives, and whichever one is the best fit, keep it. Sell the other two or give them as gifts, Christmas is right around the corner. Or, keep all three. :p
