I'm in the market for a new knife and I can't seem to decide between the Buck Vantage Force Pro desert tan stone washed or the Zero Tolerance 0350 tactical! Which would you guys choose? why?

Budget wise & EDC , the Buck pro vantage is top of the list...biggest bang for the buck!
Nothing wrong with Zero T but I find them bulky...good for going to war.

The buck in the $70 range, you won't mind getting down and dirty. USA made!

haha well said. but i've ordered the ZT. Found one online for under $120 so not bad, oh and I think they are both usa made.

You did good with the ZT. I own both and the Buck Vantage Force Pro isn't even remotely near the 0350. The Buck has awesome grips and carries deep, but is otherwise outclassed in every other aspect.

Get both! I will take whichever you don't like. I will even cover shipping!

You don't want mine. The lock is worn out and rests wedged against the opposite liner and the pocket clip screws came cross threaded from the factory so the clip is incredibly loose. I've eaten up four bits trying to get them to loosen or tighten. I thought I just got a crap one but my buddy's tan Vantage started suffering from premature lock wear too. The detent keeps it below the blade, but there's fore and aft slop. I'd get a ZT blem before I'd get the Pro for almost the same cost.

Check out that nice even grind too (sarcasm). We won't go into the off axis serrations or the seemingly softer S30V either.

They're okay for limited use and keeping your pocket stuffed, but for a regular use knife I'd look somewhere else. The liner protrudes from the grip and hurts ergonomics, the blade doesn't hold an edge very well, the spacer is heavier than it should be, and the liner needs to be at least 33.3% thicker. If they could do all that, I wouldn't have bought the ZT. Just my opinion.

I've had a bunch of 0350's in a variety of steels and composites. Wonderful model. NOT heavy at all in the pocket, although my 0550 and 0551 were.

Still not bad enough for me to not want it. Now it is a project knife!

i sold my 350, i really liked the sold lock up and i could even deal with the extra weight but when i was using it to cut up cardboard and stuff i noticed it really dug into my hand unlike thinner knives i use. i just bought a buck force pro from amazon. sent the first two back one was off centered and the next had an uneven grind. third time was the charm perfect centering and nice blade grind, lock wasn't all the way over like the first one also...i really like the s30v bos heat treat was super sharp had to cut up a few coke cans wood and zipties to dull it a bit...also in my liberal state knives with deep pocket clips are always good, but it still takes a back seat to my zt 0780

I think other than having the same steel for the blades (I think) there is no comparison, go ZT if you can afford it.
