Can't edit my thread

I have a sale thread and one of the remaining knives just sold--I attempted to edit the original post to show that knife as no longer being available, and when I typed "SOLD" in the appropriate place and clicked "save changes" it gave me an error message which said "Please enter a message with no more than 10,000 characters"

Sorry if this has been addressed before but I didn't see it in the few pages I scrolled through.

Yeah, you have more than 10k characters in your post. Edit out a picture or two and you'll be good
