I bought three swords instead!

I always wanted a Samurai sword.

1:The pretty katana has a T10 blade with hamon. It has the traditional look.
2:The beater has 9260 spring steel with a bo-hi. It should take some punishment without breaking while I learn how to use these things.
3: The trainer is a CS Bokken. This one won't cut any major arteries, should be safe for a while until I start swinging the real ones.

I've gotten pretty darn tired of the current knife offerings. nothing lights my rocket anymore. Besides, I have pretty much everything I want.

These swords however, have me drooling.

And Re: Mecha, I feel like for myself, if I were going a route other than a sax, I'd probably opt for the broadsword :)
 
You will have to give an update when they arrive.

Honestly, I have no reason to buy a CS plastic boken, but I always itch when they go on sale. My kids and I play fight with light sabers, and wooden swords, and the CS trainers look like they would be fun for my kids, and possibly a little less painful than wooden swords. The flex and being a bit softer than wood would help.
 
And if you're too old to sword fight you get a miniature ! BTW Vikings would appreciate Ti swords as they wouldn't have to worry about rust in those little longboats ! To be a Viking ? Recent DNA studies of warriors burried with weapons in England -- they were assumed to be Brits but the DNA taken of their teeth showed they had lots of seafood in their diet --Viking raiders !!! Yes I would qualify on all counts !
