Blast from the past. We cleaned out the garage last weekend. Was hoping to find an old M1950 Army Squad Stove from the early 1980s. I must have given it away or traded it. For the life of my I just can't remember. I did find an old Coleman 508 we bought new 30 years ago. I thought I had gotten rid of it. Apparently not. Finally put some new gas in it and tested it this morning. Fired right up. Seals good to go. Pump good to go. Generator good to go. Burner good to go. Simmer control good to go. I forgot how solid the old USA made Colman stoves were.

Sweet find. I think I have a few like that around here somewhere. Now where did I put those....

Great stove. I wish they still made them. I liked mine better than anything I have owned since.

I had one years ago. A little heavy for backpacking but great for lightweight camping. I wish I still had it. My first wife took it.
