Cant Get an avatar

I just got a Photobucket account. I see that when I go to edit for one of my photos it allows me to resize to one of several preset sizes, one of which is "avatar". You could try that. (Photobucket only takes a couple of minutes to set up an account.)
 
I just got my membership there, but how do i resize the pics to make it work,

You could also try to download the picture to your computer if possible, and use MSPAINT.EXE to resize it if you have a Windows OS.

Open MSPAINT.EXE and then open the picture, it should show it full size.

Go To Edit, then Stretch/Skew and insert a value less than 100 to make it smaller, depending on the original size. You may have to try a few times to get it as big as possible but it should only take a minute or so.
 
I may, if the photo shop doesnt work. I just resized the pic on photo shop to 100 by 75 avatar size, but how do i get it onto here as my avatar. Sorry guys, but ive never done this before. Thnks ESAV !

User CP -> Edit Avatar then follow the instructions on the page
 
Go to User CP and Edit Avatar. You'll see a block for Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website. You'll find that URL as Direct Link in Photobucket. Clicking on it will copy it, then paste it on your User CP/Edit Avatar page.
 
Still having issues, but i will figure it out eventually, Thnks for the help,

If you don't know how to edit pix the best way is to post your chosen picture here and one of the photoshop mavens will edit it for you. They can make it look better than you could without a lot of practice.

Considering what day it is you might have to wait till tomorrow.
 
Yeah, this avatar that you've chosen is a no-go. Please choose a more appropriate one. We don't mind scantily clad women, but porn (simulated or otherwise) is crossing the line.
