Can't go from Blue to Gold but renewed 2 weeks ago (???)

Hey all,
I let my gold membership expire unintentionally, life gets in the way of living, etc. And before I noticed it to re-up, some of the greyliners banded their $'s and paid my overdue book fees. An unexpected and tremendously kind gesture, one I'm certainly not worthy of.
That was done 15 days ago on Sept 30th and now some of my benefactors are sending PM'S asking me why I haven't changed to gold yet. On my part I'm not able to as there are no paid memberships listed in my profile or usergroups yet. Does this usually take an exceptionally long time? The PayPal receipt is dated 9.30.2016.

Yes, it can take more or less time, depending on how busy Spark is with other things.
