Can't have too many knives...

Any ideas as to value of the following:

1) Large Sebenza with polished blade
2) NICA Tanto Sebenza
3) Set of large and small Serialized Classic Sebenzas from 2000 (only 50 sets made I think)

If I sell that stuff, maybe I can afford to buy some more stuff from Chris. I think I will move away from collector type stuff, but you can never have enough "users".

Even though I only have two hands, many different knives are needed to fulfill different requirements, like different days of the week, daytime vs. nighttime, holidays, dress vs. casual, Sunday-go-to-meeting, and so on.

(BTW, Anyone know what you call this disease? kniferoids, knifephritis, Blader infection or what?)

Thanks for your expertise.

Mike

OOOOooooo.....!!! I want it! :D

I don't know about the values though...:(

While I don't have an answer to your valuation question, I believe that I do have an answer to your other question. It's called BAD (Blade Acquisition Disorder), per previous threads here on BF. It's terminal for your wallet. You might as well make the best of it and just accept your condition and spend your remaining days living like each was your last knife day. :D

I'll wing it on values, all these IMO, and what I would consider used prices:

1) Large sebbie with polished blade, slight elevation over standard sebenza. (If it's not an exotic, H or P but just regular) - $250+

2) NICA tanto sebenza - these don't come up often, I've seen them both right at full retail $340 and at good bargains. So I'd say $300 if the right people are around.

3) Numbered 200 set - Depends on who wants them, one person got kinda huffy a year or so when he wanted $600 for the set and they wheren't snapped up. I'd say more like $500+
