Can't leave feedback

I bought a knife off of a member (a gold member) and wanted to leave some feedback (positive), but I keep getting an error when I hit 'submit'. This is the first time I've had this problem.

The for sale thread (which I pasted into the feedback form) was started by a knife maker (he originally made and sold the knife to the individual) and posted under the For Sale, Custom by Individual sub-forum. I actually conducted the deal with the individual rather than the maker.

The knife arrived today and I went to the individual's feedback to post and I can't.

Is this normal?

Can you provide a link to the thread in which the sale occurred?
You cannot leave iTrader feedback for a private deal or a deal that happened outside the Exchange.
Also, the iTrader page has to be filled out completely and accurately. If you leave anything blank it will not go through.

This is the sale thread, it took place in the exchange - only Bill started the thread, I think, on behalf of Bones555 - with whom I conducted the transaction.

I fully filled out the feedback page, I've done several of them over the past month and this is the first time I've had problem.

You won't be able to leave iTrader feedback then. If there was a 3rd party involved, then it had nothing to do with Bill, it's his thread. As for selling on behalf of others, it's against the rules.

Did you buy the knife for someone else?
