Can't leave feedback

Every time I try to leave feedback, I get an error message that says, "
The following error occurred:
Invalid thread specified. You can leave feedback only for the starter of the thread or if you have started the thread."

One time I was the buyer and tonight I was the seller.

Any advice?

Unfortunately, with the new software both parties have to post in the thread to leave feedback or receive it.

Thanks mykel m for making it clear. I didn't realize BOTH parties have to post in original thread. I just figured since I started the thread, I could post feedback and then the other party go post by clicking the "whatever icon it is" in their newly left feedback.

Huh. I ran into the same thing as a buyer but never posted in the thread. Now that the thread is locked, I can't make a post so that I can leave feedback for the seller. Good to remember for next time I guess.

Tried to leave feedback (2) today and always got a popup screen indicating I had not indicated type of trade or type of feedback. I tried multiple time to click on those (seller) and (positive) blocks. Both buyers had posted in my thread.

I was looking for something else relating to feedback and bumped into this thread and your post, so I'm more than a bit late to the party here. Regardless, you could write the seller and ask to have the thread re-opened long enough for you to post. I'd think your partner would be pleased to do that to receive another positive.

Of course, if you're looking to slam him or her, then not so much....
