hi everyone, i have been looking for a good bushcraft knife that will last me for a long time, and what i have come down to is this.

Woodbear Nordic bear II

BCNW 01

Fallkniven F1

and thats about it, any other knife suggestions are welcome.

thank you!

Becker knives comes to mind. BK2 for HD bushcraft & a BK11. If those don't do it for you, & you can wait a little while, there are some (3) new Becker "tweeners" coming out around Feb 2012. They may be (but don't quote me on this) called the BK15, BK16, BK17. The size is "inbetween" the BK2 & BK11. They are going to be a MUST HAVE for me.

I just picked up a Mora Bushcraft while at SMKW. It seems like an awesome little blade too. I think it's a neat little knife, VERY comfortable grippy handle, swivel sheath & only $34. The Beckers will be worth waiting for though & not much more $$.

well guys, sorry i never replied, i searched some more, and i found a koster bushcrafter at a local knife store, that thing is really really really nice, i love the blade, i got the 3v version, so im pretty happy, it feels great in the hand and it is just what i am looking for.

i already have a few moras, and you cannot go wrong with them, i dont go into the woods without one, great knife

I vote for the F1. A Mora clipper carbon is probably imho the best value bushcraft knife one can buy. You should be able to find one for under 15.
