Can't post reply to WTB

I tried posting a reply in the "Wanted to Buy" area but got a screen with a nastygram:

You do not have permission to access this page.

As far as I know I haven't done anything obnoxious here.

Am I missing something?
 
You sure you were trying to post in the "Want to buy" sectiona not the For sale section by accident :confused: Log out, clear your cookies and come on back and try again.
 
Basic Members cannot reply to other people's threads in the wanted to buy section. If you have something to sell to someone, you should purchase a Gold Membership.

That is strange. Before I was a Knifemaker member I seem to recall being unable to reply to other people's threads in WTB...Spark?
 
TBG: I also checked responses and saw several basic members. In all the cases I looked at, they were "responding" to their own original post.

I have ordered a gold membership.
