Can't save my edits bug

I inadvertantly stated Backwoodsman mag comes once a month in a thread on Backwoodsman magazine readership. It is in the community center. I would link it, but I am using an old Mac now with a one button mouse(what to do for second mouse button functions from a PC ?), and am unfamiliar with the computer. Anywho, I went to edit the post as the mag does not come out each month. Went into edit okay, but the save button does nothing. I use the back button on the browser and it returns me to the previous search page, not back into the thread.
Between user error and an old, strange system (I can't find my keyrings and my drawers are open? Is this a computer?), I am not sure what's up.
