The 2 on the Left are Camillus, the US Model is the year of my birth. The Imperial Stockman knife was my Great GrandPa's, he carried in his pocket for longer than I can remember.

The only knife I own from my birthyear.

If anyone can use the blade stamps to get a year of origin that would be awesome, this one is sentimental as it was my Great GrandFather's knife for so many years.

Great Grandpa's knife is a cool heirloom for anyone to have! Congrats!!

Amazing that the shell handled Imperial held up that long. The plastic usually cracks off pretty quick.

I am certain the Imperial is 50 years old or more, and it was used constantly by my Grandpa, was trying to date it but no such luck so far.

According to Goins' Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings:

"IMPERIAL PROV. R.I. USA c.1954-1988 A small crown is over the "ia" in Imperial. The "USA" is on the right side, and is vertical."

That narrows it down a wee bit, I know it's on the older side I'm 34 and can remember my Grandpa using it fishing for crappie in Missouri when I was a wee lad, my Mom says he had it when she was young and she is 51 now, I wonder if the numbers on the other side can narrow it down farther. Thanks for the info.

Great knives thanks for posting. TL-29s are one of my favorite patterns.

Forgive my ignorance but which one is a TL-29? I have never been a big carrier or user of Trad's so my knowledge is let's say 2 out of 10, but I own those few due to Sentimental reasons, and have often debated getting a user for me to hand down to my lineage.

The TL-29 is the one on the left in your first post, commonly called an electrician's knife because of the screw driver and wire stripper functions.

Thanks for the clarification, I have always heard it called the Electrician's knife. Mystery solved...:D

Oops!!!!! Somehow did a double tap. Ended up with two of the TL-29's however the other one is not near as pretty.
