Can't see/find a thread I posted in that I originally only found in a search?!

I made a search for something and saw a thread that looked interesting and I ended up posting in it asking a question. After posting, I went to the forum and I don't see it in the list of thread titles when it should be at the top since it was just modified. I've looked for it quite a few times and the only way I can find it is to go to my profile and look at my posts and click on the thread that I posted in.

I'm just trying to figure out why I can't see it by going to the sub forum and wondering what else I'm not able to see and why.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is the thread in question:

The thread is still in that forum and is currently sitting on the bottom of page 7. It is not jumping to the top because For Sale/Trade threads don't bump to the top with a new post like they do in the discussion forums. They stay in chronological order by the original post because of the no bump rule. Sellers/Selling #9

The best way to keep tabs on Exchange threads is by clicking Thread Tools (right above and to the right of the first post) and clicking Subscribe to this Thread. When subscribed, you can set it so that you get an email notification whenever a new post is posted.

Going to your previous posts as you did is a good way to see recent threads you've posted in.

You can also change the thread display order while in a subforum. Below all the listed threads you will see a "Thread Display Order" tab. Change the thread sort order to Last Post Time and then click Show Threads over to the right. The page will refresh showing you the threads with the most recent posts.

Thank you! I thought I was going crazy.

I guess that is a change that was made somewhere along the way as it has been a while since I've been in the for sale area.
