can't see the pictures in some threads

Today I noticed that I can't see the pictures posted by many members in some threads, yet in other threads the pics work fine. Has some thing changed about the way BF handles pictures, or is the image uploading work the same as it was before?
 
Some people post improperly, so their pictures don't show for anyone.

If you find a picture that others can see but you can't, let us know about that specific picture and we might be able to see why it isn't showing for you.
 
I find it depends on what post host they use.


My security software blocks certain hosts like tinypic , tumbler, and a bunch of others.
 
Yeah this just started up for me too. In the Pic test thread, I only see the first post's pictures. None of the others.

Something changed as I never had this problem before. It's browser related as the problem is with Opera 12.17 that I used. Opera 12 isn't being supported anymore (mostly) and so changes in software show up there as problems. When I use Firefox 36.0.4 I can see all the pictures.

Try another browser if you're using Opera.

You can also see the post's code by using "reply with quote" and use the hidden URL's to see the pix, usually photobucket.

Oddly enough when you do that, sometimes the pictures will come up the next time you return to the thread if you haven't turned off your browser. Probably the browser cache doing that.

Yes I think it is related to Opera, too bad opera 12 is the only browser that works the way i like it to. Guess i am finally forced to switch.
 
Thanks for the tip, i will try it when i get a chance. I never liked the firefox handpes bookmarks.
