Can't sharpen my assymetrical busse basic 3! :(

I am looking for help on sharpening my busse basic 3 with the assymetric edge. I have read and re-read the sticky but have had no luck at all. I have a decent size knife collection and have them all hair cutting sharp using sandpaper and a mouse pad. I have to admit defeat in this case as it seems the only way it feels sharp is when I raise a burr on the edge using a ceramic rod. But as soon as I strop it it goes dull again. Help please.

Busse's typically come with fairly thick geometry , do you have any way of measuring your final edge angle.

This could be a number of things , what all else are you using?

I don't know the angle. I sent the knife to busse when I first got it, but it wasn't very sharp. I use a ceramic stick on the flat side and strop with a leather strop or sandpaper on a mousepad. I have had no problem sharpening my other knives. My scrapyard regulators are .333" thick and they shave hair. I am lost.
