Can't tell if my BM 940 is counterfeit or not

Just bought this 940 on Amazon for 160, seemed like a good deal but it might've been too good. After doing a little looking online I think that it might be a fake because of the, what seems like, deeper grooves than normal on the handle and the cutout for the axis lock inside of the handle is a different shape from others I've seen. Hopefully you can tell from these pictures.

Cooldood, to not feed the beast, I eliminated my inspection details. I recommend backlit sharply focused pics for Jimmy to comment on. Your spine pic is out of focus and you have no pics of opposite side. Though I appreciate my exercise, might I ask if you bought new from authorized dealer? Amazon has a great money back policy if it is fake.

You should take the advice from that other post and call Benchmade to ask if you can send them a fake and get them to send you back a real one to “protect their image”...

If Benchmade replaced clones/fakes with the real deal, you’d think folks would be buying them cheap and sending them in. I know if I got took by someone peddling that crap I wouldn’t expect them to send me a real Benchmade.
