cant upload pics,plz help

hello BF,im trying to upload pics stored on my computer but im having a problem.when i go to manage attachments,and browse my photos,when i open my pic and hit upload it says

Upload of file failed.
ive uploaded dozens of photos on this board in the same fashion and never had a problem.could you GUYS help me out please?thank you
