CANT VIEW PROFILES

Time and again I see posters reference other members profiles. I have never been able to view a profile for a member. I also cannot pull up the E-mail address for members. I assume that the correct way to do these things is to click on the icons at the top of the posts on line with the members name. For some reason it just won't work for me. What have I done to deserve this punishment???? This is really fustrating me, would it have anything to do with my browser?

My browser must be the problem. Today I went to a friends house and was able to access these features through his browser, AOL. My browser came with my compaq presario and is the compaq browser (says compaq in upper left corner and GTE in lower left corner of frame). What I can;t understand is why it would only matter here because I am able to access any function on any sight I have ever visited except here. To make matters worse this is where 95% of my net time is spent. If this can't be fixed I would consider it a good reason to get a new browser. Do you think there is anything that can be done?

Without a doubt I'd say get a new browser. Anything that's customized like the one you have is usually 1 or 2 versions behind the times.

The profile and email functions aren't anything special, and just use basic html to tell you the truth, but if you can't access them, and something as sorry as the AOL browser (not a slam on AOL users, just the AOL browser), then something is seriously wrong in River City.
