Hey Becker-Peoples,

My wife and I have an anniversary coming up soon, just a lil' while away.. :-) Spring should be here by then, and that means we will get out hiking again. I can't wait. Tired of the gloom and the cold. My lil' 11 has kept us warm and cheerful all winter long, without a bit of trouble. Hopefully, hopefully we will be able to take a vacation, maybe even get to go to some knife shoppes. Maybe Basspro or Knifeworks, although I doubt it knowing my luck. Lol. :-) Ah, well, so long as my wife is happy, I am happy. I'd dearly love to get out fishing atleast once...maybe clean a trout or two with my 11. :-) Maybe I'll get to check out the new beckers on the shelves. :-)

Anyone have any spring-time want-to-do's? Any spring-time knife buys? I wouldn't mind taking a peek at a few things here and there..

I just want spring to get here so I can go out for a few days in the woods and shoot some videos of REAL Becker use instead of crap in my backyard.

I can't wait for spring either, got a new tent I want to put to use, and i'm tired of looking at this every morning. Bentley (my dog) is dying to go for a big hike as well.

I'm going to acquire at least three new Beckers this year, starting soon. It's like my new year's revolution, or something.

Looking forward to doing some more hiking come spring.

I am excited to take my 11 month old daughter hiking for the first time. Picking up a framed baby carrier to haul her around:D

I definitely plan to put my bk2 to some good use as well. As for new knives, I just ordered a BK16 !!! Can't wait to get it!

I've got some good spring plans in the works. Heading to Chimney Rock in NC weekend after this and i'm fixin to hike some of the Palmetto Trail (in progress, cross-state trail in South Carolina).

I've gotta hike around our marshes and beaches more too; I'd love to share the beauty of the lowcountry with yall!

I want to have enough time to get out and enjoy the spring fishing seasons. I know my 15 has been wanting to fillet a few fishies

Waiting for spring here too. Not much of a fan of cold weather, icy winds and all that.
A couple of weeks ago I bought I book with about 50 different hikes between 15 and 25 km in the Ardennes region. Pretty psyched to test some of them out.
Spring also means... BK24 :D

:-) Sounds like we should all have a good spring! I hope all you guys do, and get yourselves some new Beckers!! :-) That's alot of snoooooooooooooow!!

Im looking forward to get my new 9/11 combo some action - if I was fit enough and I had the money/time off from work and I could find someone crazy enough to buddy up id love to have a crack at the Appalacian Trail or maybe even one day thru hike to a west coast meet from here in Sac !

The beautiful sights...If you have ever been to Eastern Europe, you will know what I mean...last time I had a hike in the springs/summer time, I ran into my dentist... :D

I actually need to get out to a spot I hiked a lot this past summer before the snow melts and hike it. I've always wanted to spend some time there in the winter.

Aside from that, I've got some hikes planned for summer. A friend and I are going to hike portions of the Ice Age Trail in WI and hopefully get to the Porcupine Mountains in Michigan's UP. I'm also taking up fly fishing, so I'm excited for the trout to hit the rivers here. Going to pick out my equipment next weekend and I have a friend who is going to show me some of the technique and some good places to set up for catching our local monsters. :)

Definitely, some friends and I have been wanting to try some sort of forest camping for a while now. Just trying to figure out where to go though since we're new to backpacking/car camping and we're in S. California.
