Im telling you guys. This is the hardest wait of any christmas season that I can remember. My brother was gracious enough to acquire and Spyderco southard flipper for my x-mas gift this year. He made the mistake of letting this fact slip and now the wait is pure torture. And yes before anyone asks I am the same jerk that made a thread ranting over spydercos price point for a taiwan knife. Since that thread though I have corrected such character defects of mine and have come to the realization that quality is quality and that price is usually a better indicator of such rather than Country of Origin. Im not normally a spyderco fan. These days im very particular over my knives and I only collect OTF autos, Bearing Operated flipper folders and balisongs. Some ask why no side autos and My response is simply that bearing flippers to me make that technology obsolete. I just wanted to express my excitement and my thanks to Spyderco for offering a high quality flipper. There are plenty of bearing flippers out there. But it seems they are either really cheap or really expensive. Its nice to see more makers creating the knives I want to buy.
