Well my shoulder has just started getting to the point where it wasn't too bad to hammer. The THIS  happened at work.

One of my coworkers dicided that he was too tired, lazy or just plain stupid to check out a piece of equipment after working on it. needless to say when I engaged the power to the hydraulic system on the simulator it shot up in the air on one hydraulic ram and slammed me into the wall on my friggin shoulder. I dont know what hurt worse. Slamming into the wall or lifting my arm up too fast to brace for impact. :( . My cooworker said he checked out the equipment but later admitted to blowing it off. I know one damn thing. If my injury keeps me from hammering. This dodo might just find himself on the non-smoking side of the green table. Life just keeps on sucking.

That sucks, but I gotta ask -- where is the "non-smoking side of the green table" refer too? I've never heard that phrase.

You'll be back to hammering in no time. In the meantime you can hone your offhand blacksmithing a little. :D

I certainly didn't hear anything about your shoulder being injured before this happened. Really just ask me. OJI all the way.

The phrase is from my Navy daze. it refers to going to captains mast or military trial. What kills me is the jackass hasnt even apoligized. I'd be fired if I had pulled a stunt like that. I can just imagine the hubub that would be going on right now if it had been one of the pilots that got hurt. Oh well, I'm living with a bad back, might as well have a bad shoulder to go with it. At least my feet dont stink :)

At least my feet dont stink

That's not what I heard... :D

At least you're here to tell the story. That's a plus, trust me. I've come too close to not being here too many times, to not appreciate every breath I take. I guessing you do too, really. But it sure sucks to be limited in what you can do. Let's hope it's temporary.

Meanwhile, that's what they invented stock removal for! :D Hogging belts rule. Hang in there compatriot, it'll get back to normal eventually.

I'm sorry you got hurt. I'm glad it wasn't worse. Keep hanging in there. Might take this time to work on designs, read up on technique etc. I hope you heal well and soon.
