Whilst Up at Ft Bragg today,I Stopped by the U.S Calvary store to look at some medical packs. I was suprised to find that they had canvas Khukuri sheaths in OD green. The sheaths fit 16-18in blades. They were fairly reasonable in price as well $5.50. I dont know where they are from, but they make a nice assesory to have . Also , whilst in the store, I noticed a" Real Gurkha Indian Army Kukri" I did not give another glance. Im very excited about monday. Thats when I get(by UPS)two of those Jungle SN1s Craig has mentioned before. Craig, Tell us more about the specs on these babys! I'll give the rest of you interested in the Jungle SN1s a report on the Forum after I test them out properly. Cheers Pipey

Do the green sheaths appear to be of pretty good quality?

Actually Lt Dan, The sheaths I found were simple in construction with out any room for Karda and Chakma. They have a standard belt loop that is heavy duty stitched in the back. I cannot identify where exactly they were made. They fit my WWII well.

They can't be bought separately, as they are hand-sewn to fit each khukuri. Sorry about that! (but you should be able to make your own quite easily, I should think).
