Canyon hike (Pic heavy)

Took advantage of a nice day for a hike in the Shawnee today. We went to a great little box canyon with a waterfall.


A mossy rock makes a nice place for a glam 14 shot.

Hiked around the rim of the canyon.

Through this gap..

Down this drop and you're in.

It was worth the little bit of climbing though. Just follow the creek.

Rocks on the right..

...and on the left.

Worked our way along the creek and finally could hear it.

This beautiful little multi tiered waterfall.

Tumbling away down the canyon.

All kinds of rock shelters and neat rockfalls on the east "rim", so we decided to go check out that action.

This kind of reminded me of "127 hours"

And if something doesn't live in here, they're missing a good chance.

After a good bit of exploring and general poking aroung we headed out and passed this last little waterfall.
