Jay,

Nice work. This looks more user-friendly than some of your other knives; but, I'm more into simple design.

Thanks for writing, wulf.

I understand the hesitancy to use a knife that has elaborate engraving, gemstone handles, or and inlaid sheath.

All my knives are working knives, in that they are all usable, including and especially those with gemstone handles. I hear this often, that my knives are too pretty to use, or that they're too nice.
But then I've got plenty of gem handled knives in combat, sprayed with camo paint, that will look very nice when the users hang them on their walls after their tours.

I answer this and other questions on my website, on my FAQ page here.

And please take a look at all my knife designs, there are over 270 patterns posted on my site here, with links to pictures of completed pieces.

I do make a lot of fine wood, horn, bone and ivory handled knives, too. Stay tuned to my website, I've got a couple with redwood burl and desert ironwood I'll be posting for sale in the next couple weeks!

Thanks for your interest,
Jay
