Captured Russian T-34 with German markings?

it does look like one. the germans used a lot of captured equipment and the T-34 was no exception. they designated it the PzKw T-34 r (as far as i remember).
 
bandaidman has it exactly right. The Germans used lots of captured Soviet, French, and Czech arms, including putting Soviet anti-tank guns on obsolete tank chassis to use as self-propelled anti-tank and support weapons. Had to do something as allied production was several times what Germany could put out.
 
That's a T-34/76; probably a Model 1943. I believe it's relatively late-production because of the commander's drum cupola.

What fascinating pictures! The tank appears to be in excellent condition, possibly due to the anaerobic conditions in the bog.

The original Russian turret markings are showing through the layers of paint its German owners applied. Is that first word on the flank of the turret Komsomolskaya?

German Designation: Panzerkampfwagen T-34 747(r) (The (r) stands for Russisch)

The German word for such captured tanks was beutepanzer. "Beute" derives from the same linguistic root as our word "booty."

if you are going to pull something out of a swamp, that is the tool to use.

It is amazing sometimes how well things can be preserved just by accident, the water must be really cold, low O2 content with the marsh material and low acidity or alkalinity, keeps it just it rolled out of the factory, I would be willing to bet that the tank fell thru ice at some point, with the crew either not realizing it was a lake instead of a swamp, or just mistaking it for a meadow.

New soldiers have to do all the dirty job that is not connected with army service itself. They need to clean up the personal things of their older masters, to run as fast as they can to the shop if somebody from the privileged class wants something, but that are not the awfull things. Real horror starts when every night the older soldiers drink a lot and then torture on the younger ones - in different manners including sexual violence.

Every year in Russian Army thousands of young soldiers die because of this and nobody cares. People who were in army say it was worse than to go to the prison. And you can’t go - it would be a crime. The Russian Army service is obligatory for everyone.
