Thought I'd share some pics of my recent camping trip off of Coastal Highway 1 in California. Enjoy


This is the drive up to the site on coastal Highway 1 in Cali.
One misstep and you fall into the ocean :eek::eek:

I did have a good time. Dont get me wrong, when it comes to taking the family for some fun, car camping is the answer. But, to me, I'd rather be camping in solitude with no neighbors. Backpacking is where it is at. barely any people. No cars, no stores... just you, your buddies and whatever you carry in. But alas, I brought these with me instead:

Hmmm, I think I should head up north, it looks like you guys have some amazing spots there as well. PCH is a beautiful drive.
