Car carry for the evilist knife in the realm?

So, to begin with, I live in California. Latley, I've really been enjoying carrying my Safemaker I as the backup to my spyderco or benchmade, whichever's sharpest at the moment. Well, to say the least, I find its presence very reasurring, and I feel much safer with it, especially these last few days.

The problem is, the knife is totally not kosher in Kali, by any standard. Its over the limit, double sided, concealed, and, to make things perfect, its got a T handle. Now, ordinarilly, being a little in the red zone never gave me much cause for concern, as I've always been good at talking myself out of a jam, but, looking down at this gleaming, fistful of shank', I realise that there's no talking my way out of this one.

Now, I'm not too worried about being caught carrying it, as I'm a well dressed, level headed guy, and I don't drink much, so theres no reason for me to be searched randomly. But, behind the wheel, I'm pretty high profile, and I've had my car searched before.

So the question of the hour is, is there some way to have my cake and eat it to, i.e. can I legaly drive with my safemaker tossed somwhere in the car, to be worn later at my discretionan? Is the thing just to evil looking? Does it have to many evil features?
Any help from the learned scholars would be greatly appreciated!

a pic might help, but im assuming it is a double bladed palm type knife.

first of all, no where in the penal code is a dagger defined as double edged. in fact, i find no section prohibiting double edged knives. a dagger is simply a fixed blade knife.

on your person concealed it would be considered a violation. in your vehicle it is not illegal, unless the officer searching says they are metal knuckles, in which case you are screwed. since it could fit that definition, it is a violation to own in and of itself.
