Car/Truck knife in summer

I just started leaving a Rat 1 in my truck, it gets hot here in the summer. Does anyone know if the N6 handle material will melt or be damaged by prolonged exposure to high temps in a car or truck during the summer months. Also what about G10, frn, etc.? I've always had a truck knife but usually its been a titanium frame lock so no worries about heat or a fixed blade with micarta handles so nor worries, but the rat 1 with the N6, not so sure.

Thanks in advance

It might help if we knew where "here" is and hot it gets in the summer. ;) I doubt it would affect the handle material much if the inside temp of the car is less than 200 degrees. I know a car can become an oven inside at fairly moderate summer temps but but here in Nevada the definition of moderate is in the low 100's in the summer and the interior temps of the car can get ridiculous when the temperatures soar. Looking on the internet really quickly shows that at 93 degrees Fahrenheit a car can get up to approximately 140 degrees inside in about 40 minutes. If you leave the knife in a shaded portion of the car/truck out of direct sunlight it will probably be ok. Hope this helps.

Here is southern Louisiana, how hot is 90 to 100 everyday with 80%+ humidity for about 4 months running. I thought about my dash and all of the plastic in the trucks interior and its ok, but I just wasn't sure about the N6, but did some checking and that stuff along with G10 is pretty heat tolerant.

Thanks
