Cara Cara 1 / 2 Blade Swap?

I gave my G-10 Cara Cara 2 away to a fellow servicemember, so I only have the FRN Cara Cara 1 now. So, can I swap the blades in these? I want the FFG Cara Cara 2 blade in the FRN Cara Cara 1 body, and the hollow-ground Cara Cara blade in the G-10 Cara Cara 2 handle. Anybody know?
 
Just got two Cara Cara 2's: one G-10 and one FRN. The blades aren't swappable between the Cara Cara 1 and 2. The Cara Cara 2 blade will fit in the Cara Cara 1 handle and lock, but the Cara Cara 1 blade won't lock in the Cara Cara 2 handle; the lock notch in the blade is too small.
