Hi,

I'm making an attempt to discreetly carry a bigger knife into the workplace than a Classic SD without scaring the sheeple. So I want a carabiner that packs a blade.

Does anyone know of a carabiner knife with high quality blade steel? I see that Kershaw has a couple with Aus-6 . . . I see one with 440 stainless . . . I see CRKT makes one with 7cr14whatever steel, but I would like one with something like AT LEAST AUS-8. If I see one with VG-10 or S30V I'll wet myself with joy.

Thanks!

Fpooner: Thank you for your very kind offer. Between your offer and me browsing the exchange forums during work hours, I may just end up coughing up the $10 for a bladeforums membership so I can private message you. But I'm pretty cheap (see my previous thread about wanting a S30V for under $50 to get an idea of how cheap I am :-D ).

Tkaz: I want at least Aus-8.

Thomas W: Thanks for the suggestion. I actually forgot the E.T. has the clip until I looked at another pic of it. I carry so many keys that I don't think the setup would work well for me though. I really just need a carabiner as the main part of the knife and a blade attached.

How bout an E.T? :)

The ET was the first thing I thought of as far as carabiner clips are concerned. It works really well, though the gate clearance should be a little bigger (it's a little small for some climbing harness gear loops). It unfortunately doesn't look like a carabiner, though.
