Carbideizer for titanium knives?

I'm planning on making some titanium knives in the future, and was thinking about buying a carbideizer. A lot of the models I see online seem to look exactly the same. Is there any difference? Any particular model or vendor that I should look for? (Looking in the $200 range.)

Also, I know that most people only use the carbideizer on one side of the cutting edge. Any thoughts on doing both sides?

Thanks!

Bebe makes the standard model that most of us use.

It's the one found at Travers, and a few other places.

I don't know about the edge, as I don't make Ti blades.

I do have a few knives that Warren Thomas gave me though, one I used regularly for a while.
It worked really well and is only carbidized on one side.

I believe the theory is that you can grind/file/sharpen the off side, and expose fresh carbide.

It's a paper/cardboard/envelope killing machine...
