Carbidize Lockbar Faces?

Does anyone know if Kizer carbidizes the lockbar faces of their titanium framelocks that don't have the steel lockbar inserts?

I emailed Kizer about the Splinter a while back and received a response that the titanium lock face is carbidized to reduce wear.

Yes! They have done so from the beginning and still do on the non-insert models.

I have quite a few older Kizers without a lockbar insert. carried them quite a bit and never had any issues
