For all those who edc knives with aftermarket carbon fiber clips, how do they stand up to daily carry?

I just ordered a handful regular CF clips and a couple of blue CF clips, to mount on my edc knives. Cf should be hard but not very bendy, correct? So if i snag a CF clip, it would break rather than bending like a regular metal clip.

Have you found them to be durable and strong enough for daily carry knives?

Depending on how thick they're made they can be quite flexible or very stiff. But as soon as it bends too far it will tear or delaminate. I used to make my own CF clips and no matter how thick I made them they just never had they resilience of steel or titanium. After a while they would lose their tension. They look great but I prefer a steel pocket clip if it's going in and out of my pocket all day everyday.

Well, i wish i knew that they lose their tension over time, before i spent 50 bucks on them.

But let me see how they stand up once I receive them.

I got a couple to try, put one on my 940.
I found it to not have enough tension for my liking, it just didn't feel as securely clipped to my pocket as with the standard clip. So much so I put he original one back on, I just didn't feel I could fully trust the CF clip to do the job.
