This one is pretty stout now.

Theo sent me this after a long wait but I finally got it knocked out and completed. Its looking and functioning great.

Tom Krein did a regrind on the blade for this one. Looks great other than missing the thumb disc. Don't know what that is all about really. It was gone when it arrived.

Anyway, she is done Theo.

Thanks for getting this to me. Better late than never as they say. ;)

Try waving this w/o the thumb disk vs. with it, it may not look nice but imo it waves alot better. Thanks :D

It does Wave opened nice I'll say that.

Also, Tom did a hell of a nice job on the blade for you. It goes out tomorrow morning in the mail.
Thanks

thanks but before you send it out could you bead blast the piviot screw for me?? thanks alot

Ok. I've taped it shut already but I'll try to get in it without too much tell tale signs.

I did replace the body and clip screws with matching ones for that clip you bought. ;)

That looks real good with the CF, Tom work looks top notch as well

No problem. What I did was get it out and sit here and satin finish the heads using 600 grit emory cloth. This looks much better because it matches that clip you snagged for it now and it blends better with the screws I added to it so they all shine alike now.

If I was a glutton for punishment I'd do the blade too but I'll let you tackle that hard blade. :D

It can be done there on the bead blasted area but I'm sure it would take a while of hand rubbing it. If I were to do it I'd do it normally with a block of wood and some emory cloth and use a straight smooth piece of aluminum or a block of smooth wood and clamp it down so you can rest the sanding block beside it to run it parallel with the guide clamped on your table. Hard to explain but if you keep the guide block that is clamped and the sanding block touching as you go from heel to point one way only it will leave you nice straight lines when its done. Probably start out with a 400 grit and then finish with a 600 and thats going to take it to a near mirror finish you can see your face and smile in with all that chromium in the 154CM steel:thumbup:.

So i should be getting this by monday probably??
Also i have a jyd2 i love the knife i dont love the clip, could you make something up using the factory holes??

Yeah if it didn't arrive yesterday Monday for sure. You should have recieved a tracking email from the USPS web site shortly after I printed the label to mail it. If not let me know because I got mine and I can forward it to you.

I can make a clip for the JYDII frame lock which I happen to have. I flipped mine to tip up carry but this was very tricky because the knives that have the lock cuts on the outside often times snag at that cut if you mount the clips over them. This was the case on mine but I managed to work it out.

i did not get the email could ya forward it to me? the clip would be for my g-10 jyd.

jyd 1 or 2?

email inbound

I have a JYD II in the frame lock. I would think the clip is the same for it as the G10 version if that is the one you have.

I can make something for you but what did you have in mind Theo?
