Carbon Fiber/G10 handle lamination info

Hey Folks,

Anyone have any information or documentation to better understand handle manufacturing or design, specifically CF/G10 handles? I just ordered a Spyderco Amalgam, and have never had a carbon fiber handle before. They say it is CF/g10 and I don't really know how that works.

It’s black G10 with a single sheet of carbon cloth laminated on top post curing (both using epoxy). Feels great, not too smooth. It’s a great knife, enjoy !
