Here is a piece Jason made last year while teaching an intro class to Bladesmithing

He did it to demonstrate to his students how to make a JS test knife. He made it to show them that he could cut the steel table and stab the blade into it with out any damage

The Carbon fiber was from Boeing plant 787 in Charlestown

I ve been bugging Jason to get me pics of his work no matter how simple to show here. A lot of these blades are never seen

That appeals to me quite a bit. What steel did he use?

I got to meet both Joe and Jason at different times at the Blade Show and enjoyed talking with them immensely. :)

That's a very cool hard-use knife with design and materials appropriate to the task. Keep bugging him for pics Joe!
