I really like how the Case carbon fiber line is 100% carbon fiber except for the blade and fasteners....but I dont particularly think the carbon fiber is a good fit for the Case xx style. Are there any other knives out there that are pure carbon fiber with no steel liners. If, not, I guess maybe a can deal with steal liners. I just want to know what my options are, if any.

ZT0454 and ZT0777 and ZT0770 are all linerless full carbon fiber IIRC.

I new I was going to regret asking this. I need to save up some money! ZT0454 MSPR $500 lol Crap!

Rarely does anyone every pay MSRP for anything. It's their "Suggested Retail Price", the actual retail price is usually anywhere from 10%-20% off on most manufacturers.

Yeah, I know. I buy knives and other goods. But even 20% off is exceptionally high. Not unreasonably for carbon fiber, I know. But buying a $400 knife is not something you do everyday and not something that most people do at all.

Basically, when spyderco's most expensive knife is the same as the ZT0454. That should tell you right there that it sucks to want a carbon fiber knife like me. :(

There's gotta be something else smaller out there besides the case (smaller=less carbon fiber=lower price)

From my experience, a lot of carbon fiber knives are custom made. It is unlikely that you will get away cheap with this desire!

Well, you've come to a place where some folks spend that and a lot more on knives. Welcome to Bladeforums, the exception to the rule.

REI has an exclusive Benchmade 530 with a carbon fiber handle. It's $200 though. The regular 530 is around $65...
