Carbon Fiber Inkosi Scale Question

I am thinking about picking up a KA CRK Exclusive Small Carbon Fiber Inkosi for a gift for someone special. I thought I heard that if you buy a carbon fiber model CRK would sell a plain titanium scale, but the converse is not true. Also, is that the type of thing that would require the knife being sent in to CRK or do they sell scales and then ship them? Maybe my best chance for answers is to contact CRK directly, but I figured I would check with the forumites first.
 
I have a CF KA small Insingo and later called CRK and ordered a Ti scale for it. Does that answer your question?

Side note....My blade did not park center on my CF Insingo and that is why I replaced the CF scale. Good now.

Gull Wing thank you for that response that is good to hear. I take it you did not have to send the knife in to get the scale, they just shipped it to you?
 
I inquired about this recently with CRK for a Sebenza, and they said they would send the Ti scale to me, knife doesn't need to be sent to them. I think it was $135 for the scale. I imagine it would be the same story and same/similar pricing for the Inkosi.
