I recently picked up a Sm Sebenza Insingo w/ CF inlays on the exhchange! This will be my first Sebenza with inlays.

Does anyone else own a CF inlay Sebbie? If so, what are your thoughts in terms of durability and how it compares to Micarta etc.

Thanks guys!

I have the large and have carried it a lot. So far, its been very durable. not as grippy as the micarta, but equally as strong for what any of us will do to it. Congrats and enjoy.

Excellent pickup there Mr. Nikkogi. I have the same knife and enjoy it for it's beauty at the present. I have not used it or carried it, but as mr BBQ said, it is an excellent choice.

When I first inspected the carbon fiber I was concerned because it had what appeared to be mars or marks on it, despite the fact that I bought it brand new from an authorized dealer. Inside the packaging I found a statement from CRK stating that these marks were normal and natural due to the nature of CF.

Use and enjoy!

I got my first Sm Insingo a few weeks ago and traded it for a Lg Insingo. After a few hours, I realized how perfect the Sm Insingo is for EDC and just as a general pocket knife. I'm really curious to see the inlays. Do they have a peel ply or laminate type finish? Hopefully it'll be here tomorrow!

I picked up a small Seb with CF inlays recently and really enjoy it thus far. Beautiful knife. The Ti will get some scratches, but I wouldn't worry too much about the CF itself.
